2020 SNUH Precision Medicine Symposium Held

2020-12-01

Hello.

The Precision Medicine Center at Seoul National University Hospital has now marked its third anniversary. During this time, our Precision Medicine Center has been dedicated to disseminating clinical genomic panels developed through research-oriented hospital R&D projects and refining these panels to meet clinical needs. As a result, as of September of this year, we have performed approximately 5,500 genomic panel tests across five types of panel services and have established various infrastructure systems—such as the Precision Medicine Quality Management Platform—to enhance our services.

To minimize the lingering risks associated with COVID-19 while enabling a larger number of researchers to attend, the symposium will be held simultaneously online and in person on Friday, December 4, 2020, under the subtitle “WHEN GENES MEET BIG DATA.”

At this symposium, we look forward to reviewing the various precision medicine-related activities and achievements led by Seoul National University Hospital and discussing the latest research trends and future directions in precision medicine, thereby fostering a wide-ranging dialogue on clinical precision medicine. We look forward to your interest and participation.

Chae Jong-hee, Director of the Precision Medicine Center, Seoul National University Hospital
